Clinical Psychologist - Horowhenua Locality Mental Health & AddictionsLocation: WhanganuiSalary: NZD 80,000 - 100,000About the OrganisationTe Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions.The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join the Mental Health and Addictions Service – Te Matapuna o te Ora at MidCentral. This is a full-time permanent position of 40 hours per week.The Horowhenua Community Mental Health Service provides assessment and treatment within a recovery framework to those experiencing moderate to serious mental health and/or addiction difficulties. Key tasks for this position will include:Undertaking psychological assessments and interventions with adults experiencing moderate to serious mental health and/or addiction needs in the community.Supporting transition to community-based care.Minimum Requirements:The applicant must have a recognised qualification, registration, relevant experience in the mental health field, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and willingness to run groups and co-work extensively in a multi-disciplinary team setting.Why Join Us?MidCentral offers a supportive work environment that values all employees.
