The Opportunity Te Uru Rauhi, Mental Health and Addiction Services at MidCentral District have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist. This position will be based in the Manawatu locality and provide some services across the rohe, for a period of 12 months to cover parental leave.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a level of knowledge and skill in the assessment and management of mental health and addiction presentations within a community setting.

The role includes the capacity to be part of a new model of care Te Matapuna o te Ora which focuses on an integrated treatment approach for those who would benefit from mental health and addiction services.
The Mental Health and Addiction service has a longstanding Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) programme and therefore experience in, or an interest in training in, DBT would be desirable.
