Are you a registered pharmacist in New Zealand wanting to apply your clinical knowledge daily as part of an integrated care team?

We have multiple roles available to further expand the amazing Hawkes Bay clinical pharmacist facilitator team. This is your chance to join this team which is 'long standing' and continuously achieves great outcomes, as it continues to expand. If you wish to work more than 0.5 FTE please apply for multiple roles.

We have a vacancy available for a Clinical Pharmacist based as part of the Community mental health and addictions (CMH&A) team in Hawkes Bay. This role will be integrated within the CMH&A team and support transition of care and appropriate prescribing of medicines in tangata whaiora to support whanau centred care.

Your main responsibility is to provide direct clinical pharmacist facilitation services, focusing on the appropriate prescribing and utilisation of medicines to the Hawkes Bay community mental health and addictions community.

To apply for the role, you must have the following:


Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand holding a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with no restrictions.
Work experience sufficient to demonstrate general pharmaceutical knowledge in core areas and pharmaceutical knowledge in management of long-term conditions.
Current Driver Licence.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Motivation to achieve exceptional outcomes alongside patients and the aged care team.
Desire for lifelong learning and development as a pharmacist.
Research, interpretation and provision of medicine information.
