This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in both GP and Urgent Care settings.Key Responsibilities:Provide clinical leadership and expert advice to senior management and nursing teams in New Zealand.Lead the strategic development of nursing services, aligning with emerging primary healthcare trends.Mentor, support, and develop nursing staff, fostering a positive culture of excellence and growth.Ensure continuity of clinical services across three sites, including managing nursing rosters, recruitment, orientation, and ongoing training.Conduct performance reviews, oversee quality improvement initiatives, and lead clinical audit processes.Collaborate closely with the General Manager on operational and strategic planning.Uphold and promote policies that ensure compliance with regulations and high standards of care.Maintain awareness of ACC, PHO, and nursing professional development issues.Oversee weekend operations and provide optional RN support shifts if desired.Ensure clinical excellence and the implementation of best practices in primary care settings.Enforce and uphold policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of care.Collaborate with the management team to drive operational efficiency and staff development.Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and oversee quality assurance initiatives.Requirements:Current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the Nursing Council.Proven leadership experience in a clinical environment in NZ, with a minimum of five years' nursing experience in New Zealand.Strong organizational and management skills, with knowledge of quality improvement processes and clinical teaching.Familiarity with primary healthcare operations, including ACC and PHO processes.Commitment to biculturalism and advancing health equity in New Zealand.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with My Practice or similar patient management systems (advantageous).New Zealand permanent residency.What We Offer:Competitive hourly rate and opportunities for weekend overtime if desired.Flexible work arrangement (4-5 days per week) to suit your lifestyle.Professional development opportunities and career growth.A supportive team environment with a focus on innovation and quality care.The opportunity to shape the future of nursing services in West Auckland.If you're ready to lead with vision and passion, and bring your experience and expertise to a dynamic healthcare team, we'd love to hear from you!Apply today with your CV and a cover letter outlining your leadership achievements and why you are the ideal candidate for this role. ******
