Weare a busy urban community mental health team covering the south quadrant ofChristchurch. Our multidisciplinary team mixes the skills and talents of nurses,Occupational Therapists, Pukenga Atawhais, Psychiatrists, Social Workers and Psychologists.We focus our care on those in most need, those with serious and enduring mentalillness who cannot be cared for in primary care or by NGOs. We are keen to useall the different skills our multidisciplinary team brings to provide the bestcare we can for our clients.

Coordinating thetransition of patients in and out of the community mental health team, Overseeing the clinicalcare provided by multidisciplinary team, Supporting theClinical Manager as a leader/change agent, Role modelling nursingclinical excellence to improve health outcomes, Providing supportand guidance, including Performance Appraisals, to nursing staff in the team. Your skillswill include: Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, Post Graduate Nursing diploma in relevant area required, Hold a current Nursing Council of New Zealand practising certificate, Clinical excellence with a focus on Community Mental Health Nursing, Motivation and confidence to be in a leadership role, Ability to lead and get the best out of your colleagues, Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues of different disciplinesin our multidisciplinary team.
