About the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Sleep Clinical Nurse Specialist as part of our multi-disciplinary Sleep Service based at Rotorua Hospital.
Responsibilities include providing specialist nursing care to patients with adult sleep disordered breathing conditions.
You will be highly proficient in coordinating the regular review and ongoing management of care to existing and new patients receiving respiratory therapy for sleep disordered breathing conditions within the outpatient service and community, while also providing advice/assistance with the management of these patients when admitted to hospital.
You will work closely with medical, nursing and sleep physiology professionals to provide optimal care underpinned by evidence-based best practice guidelines to ensure positive outcomes in this group of patients.
As a senior nurse, you will have a responsibility toward improving the quality of professional nursing practice and supporting an environment in which excellence in clinical care can flourish.
About youThe successful applicant will have:

Salary: $116,040 to $127,674 pro-rated to hours worked.
