About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital. This position has become available to further support our commitment to delivering high-quality, specialized nursing care within our community. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert clinical leadership, promoting best practices, and supporting patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care pathways for patients.

About you:
We are looking for an experienced nursing professional with a strong background in clinical specialties, leadership skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement in patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in a specialized clinical nursing role, ideally at an advanced level
Strong clinical assessment, planning, and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth (mandatory)
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings. (mandatory)
