An opportunity has arisen for a 0.8 FTE Otorhinolaryngology (ORL) and Cancer Care Co-ordination Nurse Specialist role. This exciting role will involve working with the wider ORL clinical team to support both outpatient and inpatient pathways, ensuring safe and efficient cancer care co-ordination for our patient group.
The successful candidate will have contemporary practice in the care of patients receiving ORL/Cancer treatment/care and will demonstrate advanced critical thinking, judgment, and accountability for their actions and decisions.
They will be self-directed, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail is also an important attribute in this role, as is a passion for teaching patients, whanau, and colleagues.
Are you a registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with post-graduate education at certificate/diploma level underway or planned, and a desire for ongoing professional development?
