As CNS Gynaecology and Urology you will provide overall direction and management for this specialty.
This exciting and demanding role involves a high level of collaboration with clinicians and the theatre manager, strategic direction for gynae and urology team development, and management of specialty equipment (including capital expenditure recommendations).
The role enjoys the support of a clinical team leader to assist with all aspects of managing the specialty and ensuring that nurses assigned to the team receive support and development in their roles.
This is a part-time 0.7 FTE position.
Our Theatres generally operate Monday to Friday 0700 to 2100.
There is also the opportunity for weekend work (weekend rates would apply).

You will also: Be a senior Registered Nurse with leadership experience and excellent communication skills Have extensive knowledge and experience in gynaecology and urology surgical procedures and theatre nursing Passion to grow people with excellent supportive, engaging and positive team skills Have experience in the management of resources required for the provision of excellent service Demonstrate a commitment to professional practice, and professional and personal development Be an excellent communicator, facilitator and advocate for patients A current NZ Nursing Registration and annual practicing certificate (APC) is essential.
