We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Older People's Liaison Psychiatry to join our Intake Team at Community Mental Health Service for Older People (MHSOP) team.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will provide clinical expertise, consultancy, clinical leadership and skilled practice in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of those clients who meet the service criteria for Consultation Liaison Service Older Person MHSOP.
We have a commitment to working in partnership and collaboration with consumers, family/whanau, medical, nursing staff and allied health across the continuum of care to ensure appropriate client referrals are met in a timely manner.

He Korero mou - About You
The successful applicant will be required to have an excellent understanding of mental health conditions, the Mental Health Act, PPPR Act, understanding of capacity assessment work up, a range of therapeutic modalities, dementia/delirium nursing care.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate mental health experience, preferably with experience in older person's mental health.
