Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a post-graduate qualification in mental health or be actively working towards one or possess equivalent learning.Cultural competence is paramount, including a robust understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its practical application, coupled with hands-on experience working with and for Maori communities.Applicants should bring specialised expertise in mental health nursing across primary/community, secondary, or tertiary settings.A proven history of addressing acute and complex mental health and/or addiction challenges.A thorough comprehension of the professional, ethical, and legislative facets underpinning mental health service delivery.The full salary range is $114,025 - $121,444.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) Health Services lead the delivery of patient-focused primary health care services to tangata within corrections facilities across Aotearoa.
