Clinical Nurse Specialist - Emergency Department Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora – Invercargill, South Island
Salary: $116,040 - $127,674 a year
Contract: Part-time 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week), Permanent

About the role:
Provide specialist emergency nursing care and expertise in direct care delivery.
Mentor staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Collaborate across the organisation.
Act as a clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent, and care coordinator/case manager.

About you:
Proven practice and advanced knowledge in emergency nursing.
Hold or be working towards a postgraduate qualification at a minimum of a diploma or master's degree.
Advanced communication techniques such as conflict resolution, diffusion, and mediation skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori, or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches in healthcare settings.

Salary range:
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the Designated Senior Nurse Scale, Grade 2 between Step 1 $116,040 and $127,674 p.a. depending on relevant experience.
