Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the role:Provide specialist emergency nursing care and expertise in direct care delivery.Mentor staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.Collaborate across the organisation.Act as a clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent, and care coordinator/case manager.About the Team/Service/Location:Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities. We take pride in all the services we provide, aiming to improve, promote, and protect the health of our region.About you:Proven practice and advanced knowledge in emergency nursing.Hold or be working towards a postgraduate qualification at a minimum of a diploma or master's degree.Advanced communication techniques such as conflict resolution, diffusion, and mediation skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori, or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches in healthcare settings.Working for Health New Zealand:Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand.
