Clinical Nurse Specialist Diabetes, Tui Te Ora 0.8 FTENew Zealand Government – Gisborne, North IslandThis is an exciting time to join the Diabetes team in Tairawhiti as we are looking to grow our team with specialist support and relationships to the community.We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with recent nursing experience in diabetes, complex long-term conditions, or acute medicine.This is an opportunity to be part of the growing service as we expand our technology and remain focused on patient-centered care.The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified and experienced registered nurse with at least 5 years post-graduate experience and:Registered with the New Zealand nursing council and have a current annual practicing certificateHave completed a post-graduate diploma qualification, relevant to the area of diabetesHold or working towards post-graduate master's in nursing qualifications, relevant to the area of diabetesHold or working towards an expert or senior nurse level portfolioWork autonomously and collaborativelyBe keen to learn new concepts and technologyBe a creative thinker and problem solverIncorporate the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi in their practice to promote equity and good health for allThis position is 0.8 FTE working 64 hours per fortnight.For further information regarding this opportunity, please contact Carlo Di Bella, Clinical Nurse Manager, Outpatients Department at ****** Whatu Ora Tairawhiti works to increase collaboration, strengthen leadership and accountability, and improve equity of access and outcomes across the health service.
