The remuneration range for this role is $116,040 - $127,674 and is covered by the collective agreement: NZNO HNZ Collective Agreement 31 March 2023 - 31 October 2024. Come and join our diabetes team! This is an exciting time to join the Diabetes team in Tairawhiti as we are looking to grow our team with specialist support and relationships to the community.
We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with recent nursing experience in diabetes, complex long-term conditions, or acute medicine.
This is an opportunity to be part of the growing service as we expand our technology and remain focused on patient-centered care.
Position Description Clinical Nurse Specialist Diabetes Mou - About you
The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified and experienced registered nurse and you would have at least 5 years post-graduate experience and:
Registered with the New Zealand nursing council and have a current annual practicing certificate
Have completed a post-graduate diploma qualification, relevant to the area of diabetes
Hold or working towards post-graduate master's in nursing qualifications, relevant to the area of diabetes
Be a nurse prescriber in diabetes
Hold or working towards an expert or senior nurse level portfolio
Work autonomously and collaboratively
Be keen to learn new concepts and technology
Be a creative thinker and problem solver
Incorporate the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi in their practice to promote equity and good health for all
This position is 0.8 FTE working 64 hours per fortnight.
