Job Description - Clinical Nurse Specialist Diabetes, Tui Te Ora 0.8 FTE (HAU02172) This is an exciting time to join the Diabetes team in Tairawhiti as we are looking to grow our team with specialist support and relationships to the community.
We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with recent nursing experience in diabetes, complex long-term conditions, or acute medicine.
This is an opportunity to be part of the growing service as we expand our technology and remain focused on patient-centered care.
The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified and experienced registered nurse with at least 5 years post-graduate experience and:
Registered with the New Zealand nursing council and have a current annual practicing certificate.Have completed a post-graduate diploma qualification relevant to the area of diabetes.Hold or be working towards post-graduate master's in nursing qualifications relevant to the area of diabetes.Hold or be working towards an expert or senior nurse level portfolio.Work autonomously and collaboratively.Be keen to learn new concepts and technology.Be a creative thinker and problem solver.Incorporate the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi in their practice to promote equity and good health for all.This position is 0.8 FTE working 64 hours per fortnight.
