The role provides clinical expertise and leadership to ensure safe and effective services to patients, family and the wider community. The role has a key focus on supporting people with diabetes and their whaanau in both clinic and inpatient settings. The role also includes the teaching of health professionals and facilitation of both formal and informal learning opportunities.
Additional key requirements for the role: NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC5+ years clinical experience in diabetes nursing in NZCurrent registration and annual practicing certificateGood time management and the ability to manage work in a planned and coordinated mannerEmployer: Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau
