Clinical Nurse Specialist, Continence at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitemata, Auckland Clinical Nurse Specialist,Continence Community Services, West Auckland Permanent, Full time ((1 FTE) Join our dynamic team at Waitemata District as we seek a passionate and skilled Nurse Specialist for our Community Continence Service within Community and Palliative Care.
This dual role offers a rich spectrum of responsibilities including comprehensive patient assessments, personalized care planning, prescription of consumables, and engaging in educational initiatives, both formal and informal. Embrace the opportunity to contribute to quality improvement programs while delivering top-tier clinical expertise in continence management. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with the District Nursing Service, fostering a supportive environment across our community sites.
Our ideal candidate holds the title of Nurse Specialist in Continence, or is a Level 4 Registered Nurse with a robust portfolio and a minimum of three years' experience in district nursing, with a strong foundation in contemporary continence care practices.
Your role requires exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, as you engage with patients and staff across all levels. Rapidly build rapport while embodying our values.
If you are working towards or have completed a relevant post-graduate diploma, we offer additional support to refine your advanced practice skills in both specialty areas.
