Senior Nursing Opportunity within Women's Health Permanent Full Time Position Monday to Friday Experience and knowledge in gynaecology, with preferably experience in colposcopy and hysteroscopy. Mo te tunga About the role Our Colposcopy and Hysteroscopy Service at Christchurch Women's Hospital provides care to over 5000 women a year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist who has a passion for women's health and will enjoy carrying out the role of Lead Colposcopy Nurse for the service.

This role has recently been scoped to be a Nurse Specialist position, so comes with the opportunity to develop the role, including being supported to become a Nurse Colposcopist.

Supporting the rest of the clinical team in colposcopy, facilitating clinics, triaging referrals, managing, and supporting patients to attend their appointments, attending MDMs, facilitating care pathways and collaborating with primary cervical screening programmes, are all key functions of the role.

Ko wai koe About You This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurse wanting to grow and develop a service that is passionate about women's health.

You will be working alongside the lead doctor to lead a multidisciplinary team, providing colposcopy and hysteroscopy services.

You will also collaborate with members of our senior nursing and management teams to develop and improve care delivery across the service.

You will be expected to collaborate with community providers such as cervical screening and our Kaupapa Maori providers to help improve access and reduce inequities in women's health.

Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experience An experienced registered nurse with knowledge and skills in gynaecology, with preferably experience in colposcopy and hysteroscopy. Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current annual practicing certificate. Currently hold or be working towards a relevant postgraduate qualification in Nursing. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to be a specialist resource nurse for patients and other clinicians. Knowledge and experience in quality and change management. Has a passion for Women's Health and a comprehensive understanding of the health inequities that exist in women's health, with a will to mitigate these. Motivated, adaptable, flexible, and solution-focused. Able to use technology efficiently (e.g., Excel, databases). Work well in a team as well as autonomously. Mo matou About Us
