Contract:  Permanent Part-Time 0.9 FTE
Salary: Grade 2 - Grade 3 on senior nursing scale NZNO Meca 
Korero mo te turanga – About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen in our innovative and expanding nurse-led cardiology service. We are looking for a motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist Registered Nurse Prescriber (or on a pathway to prescribe) to join our cardiology team.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will join a team of specialist nurses who provide cardiology nurse-led services to improve patient and whanau care across the Capital Coast and Hutt Valley District. The role is primarily based at Hutt Valley hospital, providing outpatient care to optimise heart health and recovery for people impacted by cardiac conditions.

Mou – About you We are looking for an experienced nurse who is, or is ready to become an expert in the field. You will be passionate about providing equitable, expert care to patients and their whanau living with cardiac conditions. You will be able to apply your advanced nursing practice to ensure quality outcomes for patients and demonstrate the effectiveness of specialist nurse-led services. You will be excited about nurse-led cardiac services and demonstrate agility in clinical, inter-personal and scholarly environments.
