Are you a dynamic nursing leader with vision, drive, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care? Hauora a Toi – Bay of Plenty is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the integration of two existing wards into a newly established 36 – 40 beds medical ward. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a high-performing team, while ensuring operational safety and evidence-based practices.
In this senior role, you will manage a team of skilled and dedicated professionals who excel in patient care and actively support the development of students and new graduate nurses. You will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, resilience, and a culture of excellence within the team while ensuring operational safety and evidence-based practices.
This role provides the opportunity to shape a newly integrated ward, lead a team to achieve excellence, and create a positive and efficient workplace culture. We are offering a permanent full-time position working 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week).

Proven experience as a Nurse Coordinator, Leader, or Manager.
Exceptional communication skills to effectively support patients, whanau, and staff.
Strong relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
Commitment to fostering individual team members' growth and encouraging collaboration.
Passion for developing others and creating a cohesive, high-performing team.
A focus on operational safety and evidence-based care, partnering with patients and whanau to achieve their health goals.
Change management experience to refine and enhance the model of care (preferred).
Solid understanding of business ethics and leadership principles.
Knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and Kaupapa Maori principles, with a commitment to implementing Te Toi Ahorangi strategy.
