About the Role We are currently seeking a dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager with experience in nursing leadership, vision, drive and a passion for the health of older people.
This Senior Nurse Role is in the busy rehab and stroke unit at Tauranga Hospital.
This 39 bed ward has an 8 bed stroke unit and 31 beds for rehabilitation and geriatrics, providing care for people who are admitted with acute strokes and also patients requiring rehab after an acute inpatient stay.
The nursing team is highly skilled and committed to providing excellent patient care.
The team is also dedicated to supporting the development of new staff including students and new graduate RNs.
About you We are looking for a dynamic leader, problem solver and critical thinker who has: Demonstrated expertise and experience as a Nurse Coordinator, Leader, or Manager.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively support patients, families, and staff.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.A passion for leveraging the unique skills and strengths of the team to create a collaborative, resilient, and high-performing work environment focused on excellence in care.Dedication to fostering growth and bringing out the best in others.Commitment to maintaining an operationally safe, evidence-based practice environment, working in partnership with patients and their families to achieve health goals.Experience in change management is advantageous, particularly for reviewing and evolving the model of care.A solid understanding of business ethics and leadership principles.This is a great opportunity if you are looking to lead a team, build relationships and truly create change in the health care system.
