This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Maternal, Child, and Youth Service to enhance health care services for the Whanganui community. You will need to be a forward-thinking person motivated to contribute to a dedicated team.
The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM )/Clinical Manager (CM) role is primarily accountable for providing clinical expertise, leadership, and management to support the MICAMHAS nursing and allied health team. The Clinical Nurse Manager will ensure the MICAMHAS staff have the skills, knowledge, and attributes to support mama, pepe, tamariki, rangatahi and whanau to address health issues that impact them and the community.The Clinical Nurse Manager/ Clinical Manager enables the team to meet the requirements of a secondary Mental Health Service that provides expert care and support that aligns with the Service Specifications.The Clinical Nurse Manager/ Clinical Manager will be part of the Maternal, Child, and Youth Clinical leadership team but will also be required to develop relationships with the adult mental health services.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
