Work clinically to role model & support evidence-based practice across different departments. Mon-Fri only for better work-life balance. With a strong interest and genuine commitment to ongoing education, join the senior nursing team working across the Inpatient Suite & Admissions departments to lead the improvement and education on clinical practice. This is a part-time role with an opportunity to increase to full-time working on the floor if desired. The role is Monday-Friday with a supportive and skilled team. There are ongoing professional development opportunities on offer.

What you have to do Implement clinical practice initiatives
Be part of the senior staff team to mentor and teach evidence-based clinical practice
Role model policies, procedures and professional standards of practice
Assist in projects where required
Prepare all resources to assist nurses with their ongoing education
Stay up to date on changes in clinical practice
Skills and Experience: NZ Registered Nurse with current APC - please only apply if you are NZ registered or are currently enrolled in a CAP course
Have a keen interest in ongoing education around best practice in a clinical environment
Experience in Surgical Nursing or Theatre Nursing
Proven clinical mentoring and teaching capabilities
Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and nursing care
Proactive with a can-do attitude
Good communicator with great relationship management skills
Previous educator and experience teaching preferred but not essential
