The role Join the awesome and supportive Clinical Education Team at Oceania Healthcare. We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Clinical Nurse Educators to join our Team. This is a casual position, based in Hawkes Bay or Christchurch (but we're open to location), reporting to our National Medical, Education & Research Director.
What you'll be doing: You will bring your nursing experience and passion for education to deliver quality training to Oceania nurses as well as healthcare assistants, IQNs looking for NZ registration (CAP) within the clinical setting in accordance with policies and protocols of New Zealand Nursing Council. You will work in partnership with nursing staff at the clinical placements and facilitate the provision of education to current Oceania staff.
What you'll bring: Registered NZ nurse with current APC Team player qualities are essential (humble, hungry and people smart) Great attitude and willingness to learn and grow are essential Teaching/mentoring experience would be beneficial Commitment to healthcare professional education Postgraduate nursing education would be an advantage Qualification in adult learning would be beneficial Recent NZ clinical experience Cultural sensitivity and safe practice Excellent interpersonal skills Professional demeanour and high level of personal integrity Oceania Careers Reimagining the Retirement and Aged Care Living experience in New Zealand.
