We practice in a collaborative partnership model of care to achieve best outcomes for patients and whanau.
We are looking for someone who can coordinate from the time patients are wait listed for surgery until treatment occurs.
You will work in a supportive environment with tailored orientation.
The hours are Monday to Friday with some flexibility in hours, stat holidays off, and closure through Christmas period.
Mo to matou ropu - About our team Our dedicated team consists of our Planned Care Manager, responsible for management, oversight and support of the service and team.
Clinical Nurse Coordinators advocate for their services and smooth the surgical pathway for patients and whanau.
Our valued administration team supports the nurse coordinators in this process.
We also work closely with the consultants, theatre teams, wards and other services such as the thrombosis team, and no two days are the same.
Mou - About you Registered Nurse holding current registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand Hold the established right to work in New Zealand (NZ citizenship, NZ residency or current valid work visa) Have a patient-centred philosophy Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skilled in the area of Excel, Outlook Calendar, etc.
