Mo te turanga / About the role An exciting opportunity has become available as Clinical Nurse Coordinator Orthopaedics at Lakes, Health New Zealand.
This role is a full time, permanent position (40 hours/week).

We are seeking applications from Registered nurses with a minimum of 3 years' work experience in Orthopaedics within the Operating Theatre.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide expert clinical coordination, as well as clinical guidance to staff to ensure safe, effective surgical procedures are delivered to patients.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring consumables and consignment stock (i.e., implants) are on hand.Purchasing/replacement of asset items necessary to deliver care.Updating preferences.Supporting staff learning to reach full potential in Orthopaedic procedures, facilitating education and resources. About You The successful candidate will:
Have a minimum of 3 years' work experience in Orthopaedics within the Operating Theatre.Have excellent communication and leadership skills.Be accountable for consultation with Orthopaedic Consultants to ensure equipment is provided for cases, liaising with company representatives and follow up.Communicate with the multi-disciplinary team on upcoming elective/Trauma/Acute cases. Awhe utu / Salary range $114,025.00 – 121,444.00 per annum (Grade 1 – Designated Senior Nurse Salary Scale) pro-rated to hours worked.
