This position offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care for infants and their family/whanau.As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive and efficient practice environment.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based practices are upheld, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion within the unit.This permanent, part-time position (20 hours per week) offers a unique balance of leadership responsibilities and hands-on clinical care, making it an ideal role for someone passionate about advancing neonatal care.About the Team/Service/LocationOur Neonatal Unit is a supportive, high-performing team committed to delivering exceptional care for infants and their family/whanau.
We pride ourselves on fostering an environment of professional growth, teamwork, and excellence.Located in the sunny eastern coast of New Zealand's North Island, the Bay of Plenty really is just that, offering vast gold sand beaches, bush clad mountains, lush farmlands and more.About YouThe ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Registered Nurse with a strong ability to lead and support a team in a dynamic, team-based nursing environment.Current Annual Practicing Certificate, with a postgraduate nursing qualification (preferred).Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and a safe care environment.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
