Clinical Midwife Specialist - Whanau nga uri (Midwifery-Led Unit)

Te whiwhinga mahi The Opportunity This is an opportunity to practice primary midwifery. We provide whanau centred care, to hapu whanau in partnership with their LMC.

The role will be based in the Midwifery-Lead Unit.

Nga Pukenga Motuhake Important Skills A genuine desire to improve equity for whanau by eliminating barriers and bias that prevent whanau Maori engaging with Maternity services A well-rounded midwifery experience with a passion for primary birthing Knowledgeable in working with and implementing Turanga Kaupapa in practice while embracing the Kaupapa of Te Toka Tumai Ko wai matou Our Organisation We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand.

Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.
