Clinical Midwife Specialists Diabetes in PregnancyFull / Part Time Roles AvailableMonday - FridayOur community needs you! Opportunities have arisen for experienced midwives to join our team of Diabetes Community Midwives.
The team provides continuity of antenatal and postnatal care, in clinics and the home within the South Auckland region.This role will be working alongside women who have pre-existing Types 1 or 2 diabetes and those who have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes during pregnancy.
The focus will be on providing a high standard of individualised diabetes care, with some scope for also providing direct antenatal and postnatal midwifery care for women with complex care needs who do not have their own midwife.
The hours of work are Monday Friday with some flexibility in working hours and the ability to have rostered daytime working from home.
The ability to work from home occasionally on weekends and evenings is also required. Our team office is in Wiri, Manukau.
The salary for this role is within the Senior Midwife Grade 4 scale. Ideally, the successful candidate for this senior midwifery role will have had experience of working with women who have had diabetes during their pregnancy, however this is not essential.
Although you will need to be an experienced registered, practising Midwife currently in New Zealand. Essential
