The Opportunity We have exciting opportunities for experienced midwives looking for a leadership role in our service.

The Clinical Midwife Managers provide day-to-day midwifery leadership and management across our secondary Birthing Suite and combined antenatal and postnatal ward. We provide labour and birth care to approximately 2000 women per year.
Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua | MidCentral has been at the forefront of leading innovation in maternity care in New Zealand. We have established the use of misoprostol for induction of labour and the use of Robson 10 Groups for continuous audit of outcomes and quality improvements.

We are looking for midwives with a passion for providing quality inpatient care, experience in leading quality improvement initiatives, confidence in the provision of antenatal, labour and birth, and postnatal care, and who are seeking a position with leadership opportunities.

This position will have FTE and hours negotiated with the successful applicant(s).
