An exciting opportunity awaits you to become a valued member of our team as a Clinical Midwife Coordinator (CMC).As a Clinical Midwife Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in providing day-to-day clinical support, leadership, and coordination of staff, systems, and resources within our vibrant Maternity Services team.
Working alongside a dedicated group of CMCs and Senior Midwives, you will ensure seamless patient care, maintaining patient flow, and ensuring safe and timely admissions, transfer/retrievals, and discharges.About the Team/Service/ Location:We are a close-knit team of passionate professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional care to women and their families.
Together, we strive for excellence in everything we do, supporting each other through challenges and celebrating our successes as one.About you:Required strengths:Computer literate, strive for clinical excellenceAble to work in a fast-paced and challenging environmentHold a current New Zealand Midwifery APCCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settingsWorking for Health New Zealand:Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
