About the role We are on the look-out for a highly experienced and passionate Clinical Manager to lead and inspire our fabulous clinical team at Somervale in Mt Maunganui.
This is a full-time, permanent position supporting the Village and Care Manager, coordinating clinical service delivery and providing leadership to the clinical team so the consistency of care is maintained, whilst ensuring strategic initiatives are met.
Some of the great things you will be doing: Ensure Gerontological 'Best Practice' is delivered and maintained, ensuring a high standard of clinical care and knowledge Manage clinical staff through informal coaching, formal performance reviews, and ensuring that care staff are trained and supported in delivering high-quality care Maintain positive relationships with residents and families, encouraging proactive two-way communication Work with the Village and Care Manager, Clinical Team and other team members to ensure all aspects of audit preparation are undertaken About you You are a highly experienced Clinical Leader ideally with a background in Aged Care, looking for an exciting and rewarding new challenge leading a high performing team in our Care facility.
Here's what will help you succeed in this role: You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate 5+ years' relevant aged care experience Strong and proven team leadership experience with leading a high performing team Strong understanding of gerontological and clinical best practice preferable Operational and quality management of business systems and processes, drives for quality improvements About us Established in 1984, Metlifecare is a leading owner and operator of retirement villages, providing rewarding lifestyles and care to more than 6,500 New Zealanders.
