Mosgiel location Monday to Friday Work where your passion and experience are valued We are recruiting for a highly skilled and passionate Clinical Nurse Manager on behalf of our client, a leading aged care facility in Mosgiel, Dunedin. This role is perfect for an experienced nursing leader who thrives in delivering exceptional clinical care and fostering a positive, resident-focused environment.
About the Role: As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of nursing care. You'll lead and support the nursing team, promoting professional development and ensuring best practices are followed to meet the needs of the residents.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all clinical care services, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Lead, mentor, and develop the nursing team, fostering continuous learning and improvement Ensure personalized care plans are delivered, reviewed, and updated regularly to meet the needs of residents Implement clinical audits, quality assurance measures, and best practices in care delivery Collaborate with the Care Home Manager and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care outcomes Engage with residents, families, and health professionals to ensure holistic and effective care Ideal Candidate: Registered Nurse with a current APC and significant experience in aged care or similar healthcare setting Proven leadership experience in managing clinical teams Strong understanding of interRAI assessments, care planning, and quality improvement Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Commitment to high-quality, resident-focused care Knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements in New Zealand's healthcare system Why Join This Team?
