The Role:Reporting to the Theatre Manager, as a Clinical Learning Facilitator, you will work closely with the Learning and Development Coordinator and the Theatre teams. Offering hands-on coaching and supporting the professional development of nursing staff, students, and new graduates, you will model and share best practice in Theatre Nursing.You will champion and foster a culture of continuous learning while ensuring adherence to best practice standards, providing pastoral care, and promoting a positive, collaborative working environment.Key Responsibilities:Promote a supportive learning environment within the operating theatres.Provide on-job clinical coaching to new and experienced theatre nurses.Support the development of confidence and competence in clinical skills.Work with theatre managers and coordinators to identify learning opportunities.Offer pastoral support to nursing staff, ensuring their well-being and professional growth.Collaborate with the Learning and Development Coordinator on training initiatives.Monitor, assess, and develop competency across the theatre teams.Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.Skills and Qualifications:Essential:Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operating Theatres.Experience across all key specialties including Orthopedics, General, Gynae and ENT.Strong clinical knowledge and skills in the theatre environment.Proven experience in mentoring and clinical teaching.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.Highly Desirable:Expert PDRP or working towards it.Postgraduate qualification in health professional education.What We Offer:A collaborative and supportive work environment.Opportunities for professional development and growth.The chance to make a meaningful impact on the careers of healthcare professionals.
