Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior Learning Disability Nurse to join Elysium Healthcare as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
You will be responsible for leading on quality, service user safety, pre-admission assessments, and liaising with case managers and care coordinators.

Main duties of the job As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will have demonstrable RNLD post-registration experience and be able to design and deliver supervision and training to junior nursing staff and students.
You will work in a modern, purpose-built hospital providing care to men and women with mental health conditions, including low and medium secure environments.
The role involves a variety of tasks, keeping you engaged and motivated, with a good amount of routine as well.
Previous experience in a secure setting and rehabilitation would be highly desirable.

The unit is one of NHS England's pilot sites to test new approaches to delivering mental health care and works alongside local NHS trusts and private care providers in the South West.
Wellesley Hospital is conveniently located near Wellington, close to the M5 and commutable from Taunton, Exeter, Yeovil and surrounding areas.
