Our frontline kaimahi impact the lives of whanau from across Aotearoa on a day-to-day basis, providing reassurance and clinical advice in homes, clinics and in community settings. We are committed to ensuring they have elite level leadership to guide this important mahi.
We are seeking two Clinical Leaders with energy, resilience, commitment and drive, who can inspire and lead our teams. One position is brand new based in Central Auckland (0.9 FTE) and the other is on the North Shore (0.8 FTE) to replace a well-respected leader who is retiring in 2025.
These are both permanent part-time positions and can be worked Mon - Fri as shorter days or full days with an extended weekend.
You will motivate and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Community Health Workers, and Kaiawhina to deliver our Well Child Tamariki Ora service to whanau. Acting as a part of a supportive management team, who are committed to continuous improvement of service delivery, you will be able to pivot in response to the day's changing demands while maintaining a solid rhythm for your team.
As an experienced clinician, you'll have prior experience growing and developing kaimahi to be the best versions of themselves. Your time management and adaptability will ensure your team have timely support to do their mahi well. This role calls for someone that embraces ouruara (values) when working with others including your team, your colleagues or the whanau we serve, who are our ultimate priority.
Critical thinking and reflective practice will drive your approach and contribute to our collective solution-focused mindset. You will bring a deep desire to challenge the status quo coupled with the ability to use and interpret data when making decisions.

The right to work in Aotearoa
A full or restricted licence
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to build strong professional relationships with staff and stakeholders
Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to improving health outcomes for whanau Maori, as well as a commitment/interest in Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga
An understanding of equity and how this applies to your practice and health outcomes
