If you are a motivated, enthusiastic Speech Language Therapist with an interest in leading a small team of SLT's, we would love to hear from you.
In addition to carrying a clinical caseload, the Paediatric Clinical Lead will be responsible for providing professional and clinical supervision, assisting with the coordination of service delivery and also be involved in leading quality improvement and service development initiatives.
The Clinical Lead provides support to paediatric therapists based at Tauranga and Whakatane Hospitals and the Child Development Service.
You will work within a close team who provide speech language therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients in clinic and community settings.
This role is covered by the PSA Allied Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement. Salary range for this position is $111,240 to $122,570 (full-time equivalent).

Passion for leading othersSound knowledge of the use of informal and formal assessment toolsThe ability to work well within a team to achieve patient and whanau focused goals with a focus on evidence-based practiceExcellent listening, verbal and written communication skillsExperience in instrumental assessment and / or video fluoroscopy is advantageous. You will be working with a range of health professionals across various inpatient areas and in areas of high demand, equity in support for Maori is a priority.If you are a highly motivated Speech Language Therapist, with proven paediatric skills, then we want to hear from you!
