Lead Clinical Excellence and Shape High-Quality Aged Care as a Registered Nurse in Karori. Join this medium sized facility with 90 beds across hospital, dementia and rest home level care. As a senior member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care and education to the residents and their greater whanau. In addition to providing exceptional support, you will provide leadership, offering guidance and mentorship to the dedicated nursing team.
Our client is seeking an RN with ideally 4+ years leadership experience in aged care to join and lead their dedicated clinical team. You will work closely with an experienced and supportive Village Manager and also be supported by the Regional Manager.
You will possess strong people skills and will be accountable for the clinical performance within the facility. The role will be set shifts with one day being a weekend.

What you need to do: Lead Clinical Service Delivery: Oversee clinical performance and ensure compliance with ARRC agreements and Nga Paerewa Standards 2021, championing a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain Best Practice: Ensure the delivery of gerontological best practice, staying abreast of legislation and policy to guarantee compliance.
Enhance Resident Satisfaction: Foster positive relationships with residents and their families, responding to feedback and complaints.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a clinical team through coaching, performance reviews, and training programs.
Manage Clinical Operations: Oversee rostering, health & safety protocols, audit preparation, and compliance with internal and external standards.
What you need to have: Registered Nurse Qualification: You must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate.
Experience: Previous experience in aged care, with a sound understanding of ARRC agreements and Nga Paerewa Standards.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, including team management, performance development, and compliance with health and safety protocols.
Communication Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and external health providers.
Audit and Compliance Knowledge: Experience in preparing for and managing successful audits.
