The Company Our client is a reputable provider of high-quality, low cost primary health care services to Maori and non-Maori communities living in Porirua. This organisation provides complete family healthcare services through GP, accident and medical centres with additional support provided to back office and operational services to medical centres. The role The key purpose of the position is to provide clinical leadership and oversight to health services provided to ensure they are safe, effective, accessible, efficient, sustainable, and of high quality. This includes setting direction for the clinical service that are aligned with the strategic goals and values of the organisation. The Clinical Leader will work in close partnership with the GPs Practice Managers, other service clinicians and team members. Other key relationships include liaising with DHB specialists and/or primary care clinicians to provide a high-quality health service which aligns with contractual requirements. The role will maintain a personal clinical workload and provide specialist clinical leadership advice, support, and case management as required as well as contributing to the vision and strategic planning of the service. You should have Vocationally registered General Practitioner. Te Reo Proficiency: Intermediate/Advanced preferred but not essential. Evidence of strong clinical skills and leadership. Proven ability to lead and participate in a multidisciplinary team environment, including colleagues from other health related disciplines. Committed to continual quality improvement. Strong self-management skills and the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Confidence in supporting a variety of ethnicities and cultures. Confidence in working with and influencing hospital specialists and GP colleagues. What next?
