Psychology, Counselling & Social Work (Healthcare & Medical)Crisis Recovery Café will operate out of Whakamaru to provide a safe and caring space for those experiencing mental health distress and crisis by a team of peer workers and the clinical lead.We have a great opportunity for a registered clinician with mental health experience working alongside a team of peer support workers with unique skills and experience. You will find the work extremely rewarding because you'll make a real difference in the lives of people using our service.Role OverviewAs Clinical Lead, you will:Provide risk assessments, safety plans, and clinical guidance to peer support worker colleagues.Have a clear understanding of the unique contributions of peer workers and the ability to triage referrals and coordinate urgent responses.Work as part of a team to provide care and support to those experiencing distress.You will be located at Whakamaru, which will allow you to be connected with the professional and clinical support of a multidisciplinary team. This role will be required to work between Thursday and Sunday from 2 PM to 11 PM.About YouTo be successful in this role you will:Be a registered allied health professional with mental health experience (essential).Have experience in crisis interventions.Possess knowledge of mental health services and community resources and support networks.Be an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who can work easily alongside our existing multidisciplinary team.Be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment (essential).Have experience working within mental health and/or addiction.Demonstrate your ability to build and maintain strong relationships and collaborate across the health and social service sector.How to ApplyWe would love to hear from you if you're looking for the next step in your career.
