You will lead the development of our Co-Existing Drug and Alcohol Problems (CEP) capability within our mental health teams and service pathways.At Counties Manukau Health, we are committed to transforming the way we respond to the mental health and CEP needs of our communities. Our goal is to provide high-quality care and support that enables individuals with CEP and mental illness to live longer, healthier lives.This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Leader & SMO to lead our designated AOD/CEP team. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with AOD/CEP practitioners to provide coaching, mentoring, co-case work management, shared care, and consultation services. You will also liaise and network across the CEP continuum.The Clinical Lead reports directly to the Clinical Director of Mental Health and Addictions and is an active member of Clinical Governance, Service Leadership, Adverse Events Committee, and Service Development.You will be based at Lambie Drive, but will spend most of your time working in community locations across our region. As the clinical lead, you will require Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and preferably hold a Fellowship with The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (or equivalent) or a Fellowship with the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine (FAChAM) (or equivalent).
