We are on the look-out for a highly experienced and passionate Clinical leader to lead and inspire our fabulous clinical team at Karori Village in Wellington. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Village Manager, coordinating clinical service delivery and providing leadership to the clinical team so the consistency of care is maintained, whilst ensuring strategic initiatives are met.
The role will also require you to work one weekend day each week, and share 'on-call' requirement 1 week out of 3.
Some of the great things you will be doing: Ensure Gerontological 'Best Practice' is delivered and maintained, ensuring a high standard of clinical care and knowledgeManage clinical staff through informal coaching, formal performance reviews, and ensuring that care staff are trained and supported in delivering high-quality careMaintain positive relationships with residents and families, encouraging proactive two-way communicationWork with the Village and Care Manager, Clinical Team and other team members to ensure all aspects of audit preparation are undertakenAbout you You are a highly experienced Clinical Leader ideally with a background in Aged Care, looking for an exciting and rewarding new challenge leading a high performing team in our Care facility.
Here's what will help you succeed in this role: You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate5+ years' relevant aged care experienceStrong and proven team leadership experience with leading a high performing teamStrong understanding of gerontological and clinical best practice preferableOperational and quality management of business systems and processes, drives for quality improvementsAbout us
