This unique opportunity allows for a blend of leadership and clinical work in primary care within the Northern area.As the Clinical Director, you will be responsible for shaping and enhancing primary care services through effective integration with secondary care.
Collaborate closely with the Medical Leadership Team to drive strategic planning, foster inter-professional partnerships, and uphold the values of Te Whatu Ora Te Tai o Poutini West Coast.Key Responsibilities:Deliver and support high-quality clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives in primary care.Serve as a leader and advocate for best practices in clinical care across the region.Foster collaboration with key stakeholders, including external partners, to achieve regional healthcare goals.Lead strategic development, planning, and performance monitoring to ensure delivery of high-quality efficient primary healthcare.Mentor, empower, and inspire teams to maintain effective communication and deliver outstanding patient care.Your Background:We seek a senior doctor with a strong track record of leadership and strategic thinking in healthcare settings, with a passion for delivering high-quality primary care.
You must be proactive in building cross-functional relationships and committed to promoting the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
