Salary Band –$82,045 to $100,466 p.a. pro rata + Kiwisaver Permanent, part-time (0.8FTE, 32 hours per week) opportunity Mo te turanga | About the role Patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings are at high risk of malnutrition. Ill patients are likely to require enteral, parenteral, or oral nutrition support (or a combination of these) to meet their nutritional needs. The dietitian is best placed to provide nutritional advice to the multi-professional team on the optimal way to manage the nutritional  needs of ill patients.
C linical experience and up-to-date knowledge across inpatient and outpatient settings. A working knowledge of dietetic intervention techniques, including patient centred goal planning, malnutrition diagnosis and interventions, and acute caseload management. Registered dietitian with the New Zealand Dietitians Board with a current annual practicing certificate. Hold an endorsed prescriber scope of practice. E vidence/Best practice focused in service delivery. Be computer literate with a broad based understanding of computer skills, including use of basic Microsoft programmes, and Proficient in use of health related programmes. Utu whanui |Salary range This role belongs to the DHBs PSA Allied Public Health + Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the Allied, Scientific and Technical Pay Equity Settlement Agreement, New Clinical/Degree qualified core salary scale between Step 3 ($82,045 p.a. pro rata) and Step 7 ($100,466 p.a. pro rata).
