Based at Middlemore Hospital, an amazing opportunity is waiting for you in our 22-bed inpatient Medicine ward, located in Ward 31. This ward supports Haematology and General Medicine patients.
We are seeking an enthusiastic nurse to move into our Clinical Coach role. The Clinical Coach is responsible for promoting and providing targeted and planned point of care clinical education and coaching for an identified individual nurse, nursing cohort, or team.
As the Clinical Coach, you will role model excellence in clinical practice and assist current and New Graduate Nurses in nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
Salaries are based on the NZNO Collective Agreement Registered Nurse Scale
Essential:
NZ Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate
2+ years' experience in Haematology with chemotherapy administration
3+ years experience in a large hospital environment in NZ (post registration)
Trained preceptor
Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
Post-graduate qualification in progress
Strong knowledge and expertise in Paediatric / Medical / Acute / Primary Health Care
