The role contributes to supervision and coaching of team members towards sector integration and recovery-focused care.About the ServiceThe Kia Tu Ngawari mental health and addictions teams provide community services for children and young people (up to 19 years of age) and parents of very young children (0-3 years), who have significant mental health, alcohol and other drug concerns. The multi-disciplinary teams provide assessment and therapeutic intervention for pepe, tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau.About youTo be successful, you will have:Registration as a health professional with previous leadership experience in an allied health or nursing setting, with a current practising certificateA minimum of five years post-registration experience working in a clinical settingA current full driver's licence and ability to travel throughout Northland as requiredCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
