Ministry of Health – Wellington Central, North IslandSeeking clinical expertise in the Health of Older People, with an understanding of Quality and Safety methodologiesPermanent, 0.8 FTE position, Wellington based, applications outside Wellington will also be consideredMidpoints of $180,896 and $197,978 dependent on your professional skills and experienceKo ake mahi - What you'll doThe Clinical Chief Advisor is a systems level expert providing clinical input and strategic professional advice across the Ministry's priorities and work programmes, and across the wider health sector.Contribute to a portfolio-based work programme relevant to your skills and experienceProvide senior clinical leadership, support and oversight to the Chief Clinical Officers, Group Manager and whole Ministry, in support of the Director-General and the Minister of HealthIdentify best implementation practice nationally and internationally and use this information to inform advice as appropriateLead and provide expert input into Ministerial briefings, Cabinet papers and advice to the Minister.
