Tiaho Mai is an acute adult mental health inpatient unit at Counties Manukau based within a diverse and culturally rich community. We provide care for people from Otahuhu to Mercer, coast to coast, including Kaiaua and Port Waikato who are admitted into a hospital setting with mental health problems during a crisis.
You would be involved in organisational development, clinical leadership, actively contributing to service policy, procedure and service development. The Clinical Charge Nurse acts as a role model for high standards of care by supporting an environment where excellence can flourish.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be highly organised, and have honesty, integrity and professionalism. You will need to have a keen interest in the professional development of nurses and a genuine focus on improving health outcomes.
As the Clinical Charge Nurse, you will be fully supported with a range of professional development activities. You will also be surrounded by a strong leadership team working with you to achieve shared goals.
