Clinical Nurse Lead - Theatre Wellington Southern Cross' Wellington Hospital is looking for an experienced General Surgery Clinical Nurse Lead to join our fun, dynamic and professional team. The Clinical Nurse Lead provides leadership to a team of theatre nurses and reports directly to the Theatre Services Manager. Southern Cross Hospital Wellington offers a wide range of surgical services and post-operative care to around 4,000 patients each year. Our surgical specialties include General Surgery (including upper GI & Bariatric), Gynaecology, Urology, Orthopaedics, Neuro, Vascular, Plastics, and Ophthalmology.
We currently have a full-time Clinical Nurse Lead position available preferably with a range of General Surgery experience in addition to experience of leading teams. This is a senior position and will suit an experienced team player who will inspire our team in their drive for excellence in the provision of quality surgical care here at Wellington. Ideally, you will be an amazing General Surgery theatre nurse with good interpersonal skills, able to maintain and create strong clinical relationships with our visiting surgeons and fellow healthcare professionals.
